Fun and Fellowship

All Saints' Book Group

All Saints’ Book Group meets approximately every 5 to 6 weeks to discuss books that have a connection to faith. Members present then pick the next book to read and the date of the next meeting. Anyone is welcome to join the group, even if you haven’t finished reading the book. The next book to read and meeting date are advertised by email, in the bulletin and newsletter, and with flyers around the church. If you would like to be on the email list, or would like to suggest a book, contact Theresa Grate at school@allsaintsrichland.org.

Some books we have read recently:

The Land is Not Empty: Following Jesus in Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery by Sarah Augustine

Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry

Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond

The Men's Fellowship

The invitation is open to all men to come together for fellowship, fun and service projects around the church. Our activities include serving a monthly homemade soup, bread and salad lunch, and hosting the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. We assist the Junior Warden with minor repairs around the church as well as plan activities for ourselves and our church family.

Men's Group usually meets on the first Thursday of the month at 7pm. For more information, call the office or email Bill Powell at tatersalid52@hotmail.com

Saints and Sinners

Once a month on the Second Friday, we gather at a different home to share a conversation and a meal. Couples bring either a main dish, or a side and dessert. Singles bring a side or dessert. Also a two dollar donation for drinks and your own place settings.

Information for where the event is held each month can be found in our monthly newsletter, Saints Alive, or by calling the office.

If you are interested in hosting this fun, pot-luck style dinner, please contact the office or Linda Munson at leomunson@msn.com
